FREE evening Meditation class in Hillhead Library (upstairs large hall) on Byres Road, Glasgow at 6.15pm to 7:45pm. WHO IS IT FOR? Everyone! Beginners are very welcome. Come along you&#39ll be suprised at how it can help you focus your life. IS IT REALLY FREE? Yes! All of our classes are FREE as we are a non profit charity organisation. You are not signing up to a course, this is not a trial, all we ask for is if you afford it to make a small donation (£2 or £3) to help pay for the room hire if you can. WHAT TO EXPECT: A quiet peaceful stress free hour where you will learn how to meditate with authentic qualified meditation teachers from the Thai Buddhist Community from the Meditation Centre of Scotland. This is not a religious class, everyone is welcome, expect a friendly easy relaxing class. Each weekly class we will focus on the Middle Way Meditation Technique. It is a technique that can be used to solve our inner problems and find happiness in our daily life. WHAT IS MIDDLE WAY MEDITATION? Middle Way Meditation is a simple meditation technique to help focus mind to the center of the body. To train our mind to be still, it can be more effective to focus to a still point. Many meditation techniques focus with moving part of our body such as breathing or feet movement, body movement. Initially it helps to keep mind from not wandering around. HOW IT WORKS Our classes last around 75 minutes and are suitable for new comers and seasoned meditation practitioners alike.There is a different meditation topic every week. This week&#39s topic is Wandering Mind and 7 Bases of Mind Meditation.
